Delivery Options and Timescales

Standard Delivery

(UK only)

 £2.95 per order (up to 1 kg)
 £4.95 per order (up to 2 kg)
 £6.50 per order (up to 30 kg)

We use Royal Mail 48 for most standard delivery orders. Estimated delivery for this service is anything from 2-7 days. Anything over 2 kg is dispatched with Parcelforce. See exclusions

Next Day Delivery and Express Delivery

 from £7.50 per order

We use Royal Mail Next Day before 1 pm up to 500 g. This is a guaranteed next day service from Monday - Thursday.** All orders over 500 g will be sent Express 24 with Parcelforce.** See exclusions.


*Next Day Delivery - £7.95 orders must be placed before 1 pm in order to guarantee Royal Mail Next Day Delivery. Orders received after the advertised cut off time will be collected by Royal Mail the next working day. Please note; orders placed after 1 pm on Friday will be collected by Royal Mail the following Monday except Bank Holidays. If you require a more urgent delivery please contact our sales team on 01204 467707 prior to placing your order.*

**Please note, Express delivery is a next day service, 95% of orders arrive next day however this is not guaranteed.** 

Next day and express delivery are not guaranteed for certain areas. Please see the exclusions list in the table above. Nortex Mill Factory Shop is committed to selling only high-quality products but we understand there may be a time when you need to exchange or return something you've bought. We will willingly refund or offer an exchange within 28 days of purchase, provided you have proof of purchase and the product is unused and in its original packaging. Exclusions apply. Please note that all refunds will be made back to the original payment type. If you have a gift receipt, we will exchange your product or offer you a credit note (in store). The exchange or credit note will be to the value of the product’s purchase price. Please note that credit notes are valid for one year and are redeemable at the Nortex Mill Factory Shop shop only, and that they may not be used for the purchase of gift vouchers.

Exclusions from Nortex Mill Factory Shop's returns policy

We are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on the following items, unless faulty:

  • Custom made items: made to measure curtains, blinds and accessories
  • Cut to length fabric

Faulty or Damaged goods

Nortex Mill Factory Shop has a legal obligation to sell goods to you in accordance with the contract we have agreed with you.

Online or telephone orders

If any item that we deliver to you arrives damaged or is faulty, then we will happily replace the item for free, or refund the item once the item is back in our warehouse. Please note that we will only refund the delivery charge if the whole order is damaged or faulty.

In store purchases

If any item we sell is damaged or is faulty, then we will happily replace the item for free, or refund the item.

Returning an item 

Please return your faulty item/s to us by second class standard delivery. If you choose to pay for signed for or special delivery this will be at your own cost. We can only reimburse the cost of what it would have cost on standard delivery.
